The ultimite WIP

I have finally gotten two import tuner models. I have a Integra type-R, and a Supra. Now here's the catch...I have decided to put the motor from my pro street mustang into one of them, this is where you, the forum members, come into play. I would like y'all to help decide which model to make a big block tuner and which to leave stock. Here are some real quick mockups of just the engine sitting in the engine bay on both models. The gray is the Supra and the white is the Integra incase you can't tell, not that y'all won't be able to.

Re: The ultimite WIP

The integra's transmission well will have to be cut open and supports will have to be made. Also, supports will have to be made for the Supra. So, expect the engine to be about the same height on the integra that it is on the Supra if the transmission well is cut open.

Re: The ultimite WIP

Your pictures are kinda big, so its hard to see details. You may need to resize them.

Re: The ultimite WIP

That's also an issue with the camera, but I'll change them after I resize. I'm thinking about making the stock integra rims gold. But, I don't know if I should spray them, or brush them. My gunmetal paint goes on nicely with the brush and hides the strokes very well. What would y'all suggest?

Re: The ultimite WIP

I prolly wouldn't put it in either..... but if I had to choose, I'd put it in the Supra.

Re: The ultimite WIP

Well, since it slips in so easily on the supra, I think I'm going to put it in there, but not cement it down, that way I can swith out the engines and add on the hood when I want to drive on the street, then when I get to the drag strip, swap in the big block.

I really don't want to have to cut down the integra's engine bay and chasis and end up making a mistake. That's why I'm going to have it sitting in the supra, I just wish I had an extra hood that I could cut open to fit the blower through.

Re: The ultimite WIP

another vote for putting the bigblock in the supra.

if you put it in either one, you know you'll have to tub out the rear tires right? since the supra is rwd anyway, you're already set all you need is tires.

tubbing the rear of the Teg would be a challenge since its standard fwd.

Re: The ultimite WIP

I have some nice big ol' drag slicks from the mustang also, but they are fairly big and most likely won't fit, so I'll probably stick with the stock tires.
