they can get some speed but I wouldnt go as far as to say they are insanely fast. It is more of a relaxed ride then a performance ride. Way to much body roll around the turns. Now dont get me wrong it is a very nice ride. I love when I get to drive it. But I wouldn't go and try and race say a Maxima.

It's fast, but not too fast.

I wish toyota would make it a LOT lighter.
It pulls too much weight.

But it does haul ass. I hit about 130.
Passed my exit and had to get off.
Should have kept going. But i didnt feel like gettin arrested @ 4 in the morning.

I belive it has about 220 horses.
Anyone know the exact numbers?
Id look it up @ toyota.com, but this computer is too damn slow & im too lazy.
It would take me all night.

toyota claims that it has 210

I have a G-Tech Pro which is a little computer which can tell you your HP, your 1/4 mile time and at what speed you where going, your 0-60 time and your 60-0 feet, how many g's you are pulling and so on. It is pretty accurate. Because we used it on the track on my cousins mustang and it was only .02 seconds off. And for the hp it was 1 hp less then what it had really when we took it to the dyno.

I am planning on taking my families Avalon out this weekend and see what kind of numbers I can get from it. I will post the numbers on here after i test it.

I highly suggest that everyone should get one of these. They are a great device if you know how to use it.

I finally G-Tech Pro'ed it and these are the numbers I got:

HP at the wheels 165.
!/4 mile time: 16.95.
0-60: haven't done yet.
60-0: haven't done yet.

I will do the 0-60 and the 60-0 on satuarday and will post those numbers then.

I didnt really bad in the 1/4 because I wasn't paying attention to when it said GO so i had a bad start. I bet that I can get a better time. The other reason is the gearing. They are set for a smooth comfortable ride and not a sport car ride.
