Anyone own one??

If so, what do you think of it??

I like it, its styling, power, the Italian-ness of it.

Yar, it's our family car!

They can be great, ours relly needs stiffening, and bigger rims!

It also has some strange quirks, the fact the stereo doesn't turn off with the ignition drives me mad!!!
For a 4 door run around though, it's great! So much better looking than all the other Euro crap!!!

I know what you mean by the stereo not turning off with the ignition. It is just annoying.

It is REALLY good. (Was Car of the year 1998). I like the Selespeed the best. It is damn fun to drive hard with the sequential MT. And not to mention that engine sound. Yum!!

Ahh, those Italian engines!
Of course, selespeed isnt a substitute for a real manual, but it is better than some.

MT is good but SS is umm...different. I like both!! But those perfect downshifts make an incredible sound.

My mother had the previous one : a 155 2.O TS (1996). Nice car and fabulous motor. But very heavy to sell ! So we didn't bought a 156 but a Peugeot 406 Coupé.
But, I'll maybe replace my Lancia Delta by a 156, next year I hope. We'll see. I know sby who ownes one 156 1.8. It's a really good car, sporly and not so noisy as the 155, more comfortable.

Yes, nice car. The 147 GTA with the same power and only front drive wheels is the more performancy Alfa (V6, 3.2 250hp, with the size of a Golf).

The 166 is nice, but I'm not sure about those curves down the sides of the door. I saw one in the dealer and thought, yeuch!

Yes I do have one, a darned Sexy 156 2.5, very few mechanical mods, a Remus exhaust, and Cold air intake.

I've upgraded teh interior, by reetrimming it black and white leather (ala Skoda Octavia RS) a Pioneer head unit- I'll have to get the box to tell you the model

the exterior is pretty standard, just a normal body kit, once was a GTA front lip, but an accident ended that
