my 95 talon tsi vs 99 modded civic ex

I live on Salem OR and we got alot of riced out hondas.
As i was going down big Lancaster st i saw many ricer hondas but did not get the chance to race them(traffic) When traffic finally cleared i saw a 99 civic ex with duel guages on the pod. I thought "maybe this civic has turbo?" Before i got chance to get by him he guns it. I did not hear his turbo spool or bov. He was like 1 car ahead of me when i down shifted to 3rd gear(45mph roll could go in to 2nd but did not need to ) By the time i got to 65mph he was 3 cars behind me. (his turbo prob fell off ) He tied to race me at 50 mph roll but same results. Then he turned left and i followed him. At about 20mph roll we both gun it. By the time i hit 70mph he is 5 cars behind me and i am walking away with ease. He gave up his stupid idea and went home. I thing his vtech never kicked in!
My mods:
Hallman ES boost controller
Greddy type s bov
Megan 3" Cat Back
3" downpipe
no cat
K&N Air cone with injen intake
Greddy upper and lower ic pipes
Greddy Turbo timer
Walbro 255lph fual pump
AR boost gauge
A/F gauge

Ahhhaaahahaha....uhhhhhh It is spelled VTEC, not Vtech. But honestly I don't think you would give a rats ass because you are a DSM owner, correct? Good kill. I myself am a Civic owner. Just out of curiousity, how did you exactly know what year Civic it was? Because all 96-00 Look alike . Despite that fact, I'm just giving you a hard time because you gave one of my younger gens a hard time . L8...

See I know that, but I was asking him if he knew that seeing is that he is a DSM owner and not a Civic owner. Unless he just happened to own a Civic himself. Not very many people can tell certain body styles from another unless they have owned them or actually know about them. Like I said, I'm just giving him a hard time for picking on the Civ owner . Most of the time it's either a Fuel/Temp, Water, Oil or Volt meter on those dual gauge pods. Just ricer equipment. But it's understandable you got fooled by it . L8...

That's cool. I think everyone pretty much has a little knowledge of Civics. They aren't that complex at all, and you can easily know a lot about them in little time. That's why I chose the car to work on. Plus for reliability and gas mileage. But other than that, I just like to tease people from time to time. Don't worry, I'm not getting after you . L8...

It's true, civics are very economical. My friends civic eats like 38mpg.
My talon eats alot of gas but it makes up in power.
