Traction active ...
Hi
The "traction active" message comes sometime especially when I accelerate after when i'm stopped and with the wheel turns on the left or right... Nothing is slipping : the road is dry and I accelerate slowly ... Trans level fluid is OK. What's going on ? Thank you ... Christophe SALVAING |

Check your brake fluid level.

Re: Traction active ...
I have been having this problem too. It is prevalent when I accelerate, especially when going up an incline. It also occurs frequently when my cruise control is on. This link might be able to help you---> http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=360040
It might be the speed sensor. I'm going to check and spray mine when the weather gets better here in NY and it stops snowing( Maybe April or May LOL).

Re: Re: Traction active ...
Hi all
A little feeback of this problem. I have unplugged both L&R speed sensor wiring. One was out of the bracket. I sprayed WD40 on connector (beware of brake pads & disk !) Power steering and brake level was low and I added oil and fluid respectively ... The message has gone and it seems it's fixed. Thank you for your advices ... Christophe SALVAING |
