Seafaom? Anyone know where....

Hey, you guys....I heard a lot about this Seafoam, and am trying to get a hold of it....As some of you might know, I live in Canada, and Seafoam isn't sold in Canada. I have tried looking up some online auto stores, and aren't having any luck. Some people pointed me towards NAPA, but I can't find it, and even if I did they won't ship to Canada. I also tried Autozone, with the same results. I am planning on a trip to the states, to buy a few cases of the stuff ( I live close to the border, well almost close, about 50 miles), and would like to get a hold of some of this stuff. Anyone know where? Any online sellers? Thanks....

Re: Seafaom? Anyone know where....

Almost every auto parts store around here has it, but not by the case. Usually, I buy out their stock which is anywhere from 4-10 cans. Not sure if that's cuz everybody buys it up, or if not too many people use it. Definately call ahead and see if they can get a couple cases ordered for you. Sorry, don't know of any online suppliers. But while you're down here, pick up a couple of cans of their Deep Creep spray can. It cleans out the intake, intake valves and cylinders very good (just spray into throttle body). I used it after using seafoam at every oil change (gas tank, crankcase, and through the vacuum lines) for 25,000 miles, and it still got a lot of carbon out.

Re: Seafaom? Anyone know where....

Believe it or not, I bought some today at WalMart in Vincennes. It's near where I live and it was a few cents cheaper than Autozone plus I didn't have to drive clear across town!

Re: Seafaom? Anyone know where....

Yeah, I was surprised when WalMart didn't have any b/c they have just about everything else there...
Silveradoking: I couldn't find seafoam on any auto parts websites so i just kept calling around until i found some.....your best bet may be to do the same...you never know....but definitely make sure that the store you go to has a case or two if you're gonna drive that far......hell, you may wanna give seafoam a call and see if you could become a distributor up there for them......lol....if you do, hook me up with a bulk discount....best of luck...

tractor supply carrys sea foam. I would check all the farm stores, farmers use a lot of sea foam.

if you call a few stores in the area your going to be in, if thay carry sea foam thay may hold a case or two for you.

Re: Seafaom? Anyone know where....

Thanks guys for all the replies.... I called a NAPA store, up in Niagara Falls, New York...They said they have 19 pieces....so I will be going up there on Saturday morning to pick em all up.... Actually, I heard about this product and how it works so good....I have been telling a lot of people about it, and they all said they want some....You know airjam, that I was thinking about that idea, I wouldn't mind becoming a supplier up here. I know that the stuff up here in Canada, from the dealerships sucks...so Seafoam to the rescue...hey, 1 can times... oh, i don't know $15.00. actually, $20.00 a can Canadian...Equals...$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.....I just hope they don't rip me off at the border, I wonder if I take the stickers off, and put some under the seats would I be able to get away with it.....?????

Reminded me of something my uncle told me. You should expect to have to replace the fuel filter. The SeaFoam works so good, it will loosen all the crap stuck inside the tank/lines and clog up the filter. He ran a bottle through in his Metro (first cleaner of any kind at 150,000 miles), and it clogged 2 filters. But, after that, it ran great (and had lots of power )

Re: Seafaom? Anyone know where....

Hey, guys....I went down to the states today, and bought 4 cases of the stuff...I also purchased the tranny stuff and the deep creep..... I put it through the brake booster lines...I also put it in the engine oil, and a can in the fuel tank... and I sprayed the deep creep through the throttle body....let it sit for 1/2 hour....and then turned it on....I have never seen so much smoke come out in my life....my neighbours came out to ask me what the heck was wrong with my truck....I couldn't even see them standing 2 feet away from me....this stuff is amazing...I found out also that this stuff can not be shipped to Canada, because it is hazardous materials....I already sold half the stuff I have....I felt immediately better acceleration, I don't know about the gas mileage yet...but this is good stuff...If any of you guys live in Canada, and want some of this stuff....just pm me and I can send you some stuff or if you live close to Toronto drop me a line....

Re: Seafaom? Anyone know where....

Silveradoking: I changed my 3-month old fuel filter today b/c of the crap that the seafoam knocked loose. thank god the filters are only like $6 USD at autozone. I anticipate havign to change this one soon too.
I also put in close to one full bottle of seafoam through my brake booster hose. I had someone holing the throttle at around 1500rpm until it sucked about half of it up. I did the other half on my own, just a bit more slowly. While the seafoam was being sucked in white smoke was billowing out of my exhaust. I let it sit for about 20 mins and started it up.......it was unbeleivable how much smoke came out. I was in the parking lot of a home depot and people just stopped ad stared like my truck was gonna blow. I heard soem guy yelling at me that i was burning a ton of oil and i just kinda laughed...after a few mins it cleared and i went for a short drive until the smoke went away. It definitely feels a heck of a lot smoother...especially at idle....anyway, sorry for the rant but i was really amazed at what it cleaned out...

Oh, yah...I changed my fuel filter about one month ago, but I will change it again.... and the oil as well....
