Best Subs/Amp on a budget.

I need some subs and an amp and I have around $200 to spend. I know I will most likely not be looking at name brand shit, but I ask for your guys' assistance in getting some good quality stuff from your own experience. Thanks.

well for just $200 beans you are gonna have a tough time finding stuff, id say go with a pre-amped sub like a bazooka tube.

Also...has anyone ever gottenm one of the ebay package deals that are most definately pieces of shit? I would never think of getting something like that w/o feedback from other people who have bought them. Here's a few examples...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=1341369658
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=1341788264

What's the quality on these things and such?

Yo man I can hook you up with something for under $200 -- do you need the amp install kit and a box for the woofers as well or just an amp and woofers?

Don't need an install kit, but yea, subs, amp, and box...if its too cheap for the box, then its okay with no box.

You got a list of ur shit or something?

I hope you have not bought your equipment yet =/

Pioneer TS-W304C 12-inch 4 ohms $69.95 x 2
http://www.sounddomain.com/sku/PIOTSW304C

Ultimate Titanium II TS1000 Titanium Series 10" 4-ohms $39.95 x 2
http://www.sounddomain.com/sku/ULTTS1000

Amps to look at -

Find a shop that will build you a box in the 200 area. It shouldn't run you over $85.00 though. This system will hold you over until you get more money and then you can sell this system. Good luck.

good recommendation. i have them too, but it's the 10" version. they are good quality subs and can handle more than it is rated. just keep the gain down and turn off the amp's bass boost. you'll be happy with this sub if you're looking for a lil more than just plain average bass.

if you're deciding to go with this amp, i recommend the JBL 600.1
at 14.4volt, this amp should make about 700 watts so each sub will be getting about 350 watts.

as for the box, you can go to your local home depot or other similar stores and buy MDF (medium density fiberboard) for around $20. at least thats how much my 4'x8' cost. screws and glues shouldn't cost more than $10 total. build your own box and have fun. prefabricated box are cheap and they use particle boards which have air leaks. besides, you can build one that meets the recommended volume.
