3 1/2 inch drop?

i got sick of my maxpseed coilovers and planning to get sprint springs. i heard they ride like stock. My questions is, how bad will a 3 1/2 inch drop be? wat do u prefer, 2 1/2 or 3 1/2?

well im dropped 2.5 in the front and 2.25 in the back on sprints and the ride is a the harder than stock but thats cause im riding on stock struts, but the height is pretty good. if i had some bigger wheels my wheel wells would be filled up.

3 1/2 inch drop...that is quit a bit matter of fact i didn't know u could drop it that low..anyways i gotta friend who dropped his only 2.5 front/rear and he says he is already driving sideways over the speed bumbs to prevent bottoming out...so i'm guessing 3.5 is a little bit much..i don't know too much about cars but i would personally save that kinda drop for the shows

the quality of the ride depends on the suspension package that you have. having a crappy suspension will cause the ride to be like crap even with a 1" suspension. Do it the right way the first time with koni yellows, and neuspeed or eibachs. check the suspension forum for info on what package you should get.

The main reason i want springs is because i dont like the ride of coilovers. i would get ground controls but dont really have the money. i doubt it if i will get a kit so i prolly wont have to raise it. i think 2 1/2 inch drop will do my needs.

hey man dont worry about it. anything will be better than those damn maxspeed coilovers. i had a guy talk me into those...he said they were almost as good a ride as ground control...man was he full of shit. they blew donkey balls. i have a 2 1/2 inch drop with intrax and kyb adjustables and would nt change for the world. i have heard that the sprints are good too though. you could also look at neuspeed too...i ve ran them and they were just as good as stock also.
