96+ Civic Lowering Springs Question

Ok...i asked in the civic and integra forum both if the civic springs would fit an integra and i didnt get any replies. SO...i thought this was my last resort and i came in here to ask if anyone knew if 96+ Civic Springs would fit a 94+ Integra. Im just wondering because i have some sprint springs just sittin in the garage from my brothers 96 Civic and i want to put the springs on my g/f's 94 Integra. All replies are apperciated. Thnx.

sorry man, dont think so..read this...may help

"So I hit the guy up for a test drive. We took it out and I worked it hard. We took it up a tight curvy road that is near my house, and I loved it. At that time, I looked at it this way, I paid 10k for my civic, plus 7k in modifications, why not just get the real thing. So I did, I traded my Civic in for the Integra. This was March 1999. They allowed my to have both cars for a week to move parts from the civic to the Integra. I swapped my suspension, moved the stereo and put the civic back to stock. I actually put the OEM GSR springs/struts on the Civic. Talk about Fender gap!

So I though I was happy, I had the motor, the car and it was quick. The Civic Pro-Kit was terrible on the Acura and the front end constantly bottomed out. So I replaced the Civic Eibach Pro-kit with Ground Control Coilovers. I had researched on the Hybrid board the best spring rates for a GSR and I ended up going with 350f/300r. I spend close to 40 hours reinstalling my heavy stereo system into the Integra. I finally got it all done around June of 99"
from here

since the civic is lighter than the integra i dotn think the integra would like the springs

Yea but the integra only weighs 200 lbs more than the civic so the spring rate shouldnt be that much different should it? Plus maybe it was just that guys bad luck to have that happen to him.

I have 98 civic eibach prokit on my teg right now, and it runs fine. It was totally fit when the time we installed it, but the amount of drop might be different cuz of the weight or something.

Allright...thanks for the help....hmmmm...i wonder if it will lower it a little more since the integra weighs about 200 lbs more. it probably wont be a noticeable difference will it? Oh well.....im gonna try it anyway.
