Re: print decals

You need to print them small....

What do you want to know? A size as in a measurement?

Re: print decals

You have to measure and decide on your own.

Measure the car, and decide how small your decal should be. Make a high resolution decal on your computer, then scale it to the desired size when printing.

Re: print decals

like hiro said, measure, open a document with those dimensions in a high res pic, and design away.

Re: print decals

Whats so complicated? Measure them, draw them high res in something like Photoshop, print them on an Alps. It helps to think sometimes.

Surley bunch today...

Aren't there decals like these in every revell tuner kit issued?

Anyway, I always size my custom graphics to the size I think I want, and then print a copy on plain paper to check the fit before I commit the graphics to high buck decal paper.
I also print an extra set (or two) just in case my printer, clear or application cock-up.

Re: print decals

Yeah I'm not a noob to modeling, but I havent got really big into decals, since most of my builds are box stock, or modified with with solid one color paints.

I guess he is trying to find a good site or information on where to find decals already drawn up. That would be good if SAS or some one already had for instance a decal sheet HI-RES with say NISSAN, NISMO, VQ35, VOLK, etc, like a sheet already NISSAN themed. Then they could have a sheet for all rim manufacturers.

Just saying it would be easier to make decals if all you had to do was hit print, and then insert a sheet of decal paper.

If I'm doing a load and size is important, I scan the car and load into Photoshop/Illustrator and use that as a guide.

Hope this helps
