Coupla kills

Well, I got a free dinner from the 'rents, plus tommorow they're taking me out again, gonna get some free stuff, yay!, but after dinner, I felt it was way to early to head back to the house, so I head on over to CTown to get soem runs in. I managed two decent ones.

First one was against a mid 90s Mustang GT. It was pretty much a flirty game goin till we finally get held up at a light. He creeps, I creep, he creeps, I creep again, he revs it a few times, I just kinda nod, and the light goes green. We both punch it off the line, and he holds me back (my nose at his front wheel), till I hit third, then start to pull. At 55ish I start to pull, and by 65 his nose is at my bumper. I bring it up to 80, where I'm about 3/4-1 car length up, and let off. Finally got to let the CAI get some real acceleration and WOT time, and man, it sounds so sweet. We catch the next red light, and he refuses to pull all the way up. Just like the last Civic I killed, I even stayed stopped when the light went green for a few seconds, but he didn't go till I went. Meh, kill number one for the night.

Next race I grab after just cruisin a bit. Its looking like the 'Stang was gonna be my only race, till I fly by a Buick Rendezvous, and he jumps on it and catches up. He paces me for about a block till we get to the next red light, and he revs a few times. At first, I'm thinking wtf?, but then I decide I wont get anything else, so I decide to go with it. I look over, he revs again, and I just nod, and pop it back into steptronic, and into first. Light goes green, and we both punch it. We run doors till I hit second, and from there I just walk away up to 80, where I let off. He never catches up, I guess he had a turn, and I chalk up kill two.

That was all I got tonight, other than a little flirting with a GS300, but he wouldn't run. Slow night, and I doubt I'll be going out tommorow night, unless the bank can get my check cleared before tommorow evening, dont have any gas, bleh. Slow night, but good none the less.

CLIFF:
Ran a Stang GT, started to pull in thrid, took it up to 80 and let off a car length up
Ran a Rendezvous, smoked it
Bitched about not having gas

Good kills my friend. When you going to give us pics of your intake you just installed? And pics of your car too? I've always been curious to see what your car looks like. L8...

Dunno if it was, didn't get a look. I just got back, not much tonight, ran doors with a GTP, pulled a nose, and raced an old ass Caddy, took it up to 90 and was up by a length or so. Sorry I didnt call, I left my cell phone at the hotel.

You mean the Merkur XR4Ti I presume?

And is it just me, or does Cassiesman get like 7 or 8 races A DAY?

Re: Coupla kills

Lol, I wish. Naw, I get most of them on the weekend. I just go to CTown, its a college town with Mizzou, so its easy to get races. The GTP I ran last night was actually out here in the boonies, and the Caddy was a guy who looked like smokie from the Scary Movie serries. When we finished, he looked over and had this huge grin on his face and was giving me the thumbs up.

yup, that one! it was black and kinda loud, i don't know anything about them, but i assumed a 15 second car out of it, just because i know the fords of those years weren't entirely shabby.

he does, i don't, i wish, but he does

BTW just on a sidenote, my friend had his 1987 Turbo Buick Regal out saturday night and well, it accelerates much faster than my car (3.8 turbo intercooled) and we almost conned a '95 model Cavalier Z24 (stock) into racing him for 20$ he said next weekend he would and was absolutely confident he'd be coming home w/ the 20$$ i was going to take from him but whatever

sleepers rock for gas money, i might try getting the GVR4 in on it too
