nothing bad will happen but it is best to keep things as pure as possible. either will be fine as long as your water isnt super hard... ours is from a well about 2 miles away and persoanlly i wouldnt use it (we have had it tested) in my radiator but if i did it wouldnt hurt much...

Agreed, either works fine. If you're anal, use distilled, but the distilled will dissolve metals from its surroundings and be just as hard as tap water in a matter of time anyway.

Nah, Dex is fine, its when GM uses the clay tablets at the factory that things go sour. Just make sure you flush well first with plain water and completely drain the block, hoses and radiator first.

Yeah, something is up with this stuff. In my 94 and 98 dexcool went bad. So i put green in them. BUT in my 1989 it is still in there working great.
A lawsuit over DexCool here in Florida was just granted class action statis. I guess there is some evidence-perhaps the clay tablets? Remember-Most problems with a car come down to one problem-A loose nut behind the wheel.
