distributor??????

well i was throwing a code 9 which has something to do with the distributor, but i was on my way home last night and my motor mad this nasty sound then died out , i tryed to start it back up but it sound like i guess theres no spark, could it be bc the distributor just died out ????? any help would be great ............thanks

well ima go take the cap off and see , also what if my car over heated could that cause some things to mess up?

Not likely but you never know almost anything is possible.

And hurry up and pull that damn cap off the suspense is killing me!

I have to dissagree... if it over heated enough there is a good possibility the head is warped and the gasket is shot.

Your right, I kinda focused on the dizzy unnecessarily, it could very well be a blown head gasket.

i looked at the distributor and nothin looks wrong but i think i did mess some stuff up bc i looked in my radiator and there was like no antifreeze in it and when i poured more in it started leaking threw the bottom somewhere ...........anyone know why, did i crack my block? ...............thanks

well.... wheres it coming from. have you drained your oil to see if it has any coolant in it?. Check where its leaking from first though.

The same thing happen to my 1990 honda civic hatchback. Everytime i drove it the car kept dyin on me, i replaced the distributor today, and now it runs fine.
