Ls beating a GSR?
I have a question is there anything that you can do to allow an ls create more power than a gsr, it there any disadvantges of vtec compared to non- vtec dohc. I like gsr and would take one over an ls but money is an issue and i can get an ls cheaper. Im not out to really race but I would like a car with some kick and able to compete with some other cars out there.

Definitely a GSR....how much are you looking to spend?
I got my car brand new for 19,500, with some extra options and the acura body kit ![]() ~skoob |

you can do a frankenstein ls-vtec, slapping a gs-r head on an ls block. All little tricky though you need a good shop, becuase i've heard of reliability problems, but i think it depends on the quality of the shop.

Just build up the motor a little bit like intake/headers/exhaust,camshafts,
cam gears, pulleys, intake manifold, etc and you should be able to run with GSR's if not quicker.
