Are white windshield washer lights legal in North Carolina??

every washer llight should be legal unless it's blue or red, but check with your local laws

Hey, I got some of them, and just an installation tip, it says on the package to run the + wire to the + on the corner parking lights, but an easier way is to just run the + for the wiper lights to the headlight fuse in your fuse box. It was save a lot of time.

so you have your lights hooked up to your turn signals, right? Do you like them or what? what color you got? I have some blue ones and they shorted out and just got the replacments in, and am debating on having them as turn signals or not at all.


AS FAR AS LEGAL/ILLEGAL I've heard on this fotum from someone who was pulled over with white ones and the cop told them that any light that is in the front of the car and was not from the factory its illegal. but I THINK it all depends on the cop!

No, I dont have them hooked up to my turn signals. I have them hooked up to my headlight fuse in my fuse box. They both turn on when I have my headlights turned on. I got the clear ones. Hear in the Cleveland area, we can not have any blue or red on the front of our cars, and no blue on the back, but any other color is good. I know a bunch of friends who have the clear and green ones, and they have never been stopped. I think that the cop that said that any aftermarket light on your car is illegal, must have had a couple bad cups of coffee or doughnuts. It doesnt sound quite right.
