coilover and shock assembly
i just bought my friend coilovers off him with tokico shocks for cheap, since he was selling his car. I was wondering is there anything off the stock shock assembly that i need or are the coilovers and shocks all i need. I have a 2000 civic ex and my friends dad is gonna put them on, and i was wondering if i will need a spring compresor too. Also any tips on how to put them on, make putting them on alot easier. Thanks

If he took off the shock and coilover assembly then that's all you need assuming it is all assembled ... Even if it isn't assembled you will not need a spring compressor ... If your friends dad knows how to put them in then it's a simple bolt on ... not tricks or tips on changing a shock assembly ...

^ i'm not sure that this is entirely true...... i know coilovers are shorter than stock springs....but are they short enough to not need a compressor? if you have one around then great, but i wouldn't be surprised if you did need one....
