EJ20T into a 93 Subaru impreza with and EJ18

I inherited my father's Subaru and the motor is pretty beat and not to mention SLOW!!!!So I wanted to know about doing a swap in it. How hard it is to swap in an ej20t into a 93 Subaru impreza L, and how much would the total swap cost. I heard it is a wiring nightmare. Would I have to change out the drivetrain for this swap. Can anyone provide some insight on this particular subject. I would appreciate info from someone who has actually done it. But all info will be helpful.

It's about as hard to swap into a '93 as it is to swap it into a '96 or any other pre-'01 Impreza.

Coincidentally, this is a frequent subject, perhaps a search could answer most of your questions?
