You ever run out of gas ?

I ran out of gas just as I finished making a turn at the top of an overpass in my hometown. Unfortunately, I turned left and coasted down to a stop. The kicker is ... if I turned right, there was a gas station at the bottom of the overpass that I would have coasted right into.

I was a little annoyed cause I was such a dumbass !!!

my first car had a broken gas gauge and i used to run out of gas often. sucks! had to call my mom to bring me gas!

I've never run out of gas but I sure do hate to pump it...ugh I can't pump gas

I got AAA which has come in handy at least once for running out of gas. The sending unit in the tank of our Venture is messed up so once the fuel level falls below 1/2 the needle automatically goes to Full.

I rarely let the gauge drop past 1/4 of a tank.

I've run out of gas so many times I can't even remember how often it's happened. In the Toyota, you could run with the needle on E all day long - but I'd sometimes forget if the needle had gotten there yesterday, or the day before...
In the Le Car, the very moment the gauge registered empty - your tank was empty. I'd usually end up stalling about 20ft or so from any gas station I was heading to.
So far in the subaru I've only run out of gas once - about five miles from any gas station, at 11:30 at night, during the winter - and the only person who gave me a ride to the gas station was a motorcyclist, so I froze my ass off.

I've never ran out of gas. But my friend matt used to do it weekly when he had the 86 Cut.

Same here, can't stand having a tank not full. Hell, if the tank is only half full and gas is cheap at the time, I'll fill up. It's a trait I picked up from delivering pizza, every night I would take some of my tip money and fill the tank full. I've grown to not being able to stand a tank that isn't full all the time.

Gas, I don't need gas. My car runs on solar power.

Not really. The Buick begins to sputter under gentle braking at 1/4 tank, so I kind of need to keep it full.
