Re: Kei Office D1 S15 details?

There have been a couple builds of the first Kei Office S15. That kit came with the rear flares not the front flares. Andy Jones SB'd front flares for his build.

Have you tried searching Hobby World or Hobby Search for the kit pictures?

It comes with rear flares but oddly not the fronts. wheels look a little over scale, the ride height is massive and it has full interior (no cage etc), but other then that it seems to go together well enough

All of Aoshima's D1 series cars come with full interior, which IMO is a bunch of crap. Sure I still bought the kits, they are nice kits, but anyone who wanted a 1/24 scale replica of the D1 cars is going to be disappointed. All those nice decals and body kits are wasted.

I'm building the kit right now and I love it. I like that the suspension comes with little metal springs instead of plastic ones. it makes it easier to lower. If you look at the box cover, you'll see the car does have two seats. So the interior is somewhat realistic. It also has bride seats. If you really want to have a rollcage, you can just make one yourself. The decals are very realistic which is nice. I do wish they were chrome and not just silver though. I actually like the gold wheels. Overall I think this is a very nice kit.
BTW, aoshima is going to come out with a Kei office S15 round five whice should be nice

Re: Kei Office D1 S15 details?

Well, to be honest having 2 seats doesn't mean it's realistic to that car. I do like that they equip the interior decals but the Aoshima Kei Office is a far stretch from being a replica. That was no surprise to anyone, though. It's been awhile since the days of the Tamiya R32 street and race versions.
