Pics of mostly finished Tamiya GT3

I finally finished (for the most part) my current project after working on it for about 2 months. Since I know you guys love pics so much, here are a few of it:

Now, before anyone mentions it, I know those "nubs" at the back were supposed to have been sanded out. It's just that I didn't realize it until I was pretty much done. All I have left to do now is attach the license plates.

Excellent photography! Excellent paint job! You really made the yellow shine

Other than the nubs, that is a pretty fine piece of work

Thanks! I don't know what they are, but they were supposed to have been sanded off. They weren't anything normal like a mold line or anything. That's probably why I ignored them. I didn't realize it until I looked at my reference picture for the tail lights and saw no trace of them. Oh well, I'm not about to redo that paint job.

They were taken on the walkway leading up to my front door! I was lucky that the grains used in the concrete were small enough so as to hide the true scale of the car. Oh, and thanks to a suggestion Jay has made in another post, I found the flower button on the digital camera.

THe nubs are reverse sensors, not available on the GT3.

Paint the inside of the front bumper black as you can see too much yellow through the vents, and the radiators should be silver.

Otherwise superb! Well done, great shots too!

Wow, thanks to everyone for the compliments!

Actually, I did paint the radiators silver. I guess there's just too much yellow bouncing around to tell. I'll have to go in and paint those bits black as you said and maybe the silver will show better. It's a good thing I didn't glue the body to the chassis.

so whats next?
A little while back I started a thread with pics of what I was then working on. They included the Porsche along with a Subaru Impreza WRX STi ver. IV that was painted a color that didn't quite agree with everyone who replied. I'm at the stage where I can start polishing it. I only really have weekends to do modelling, so I hope to finish it up in a couple of weeks.

I think the camera has a lot to do with it. I used my parents' $900.00(!) digital camera.

Do you mean 996? As for anyone making a 996 turbo model, I'm not aware of one. If there is, I'd like to know so I could purchase it!
