Talking my first in 6-7 years

when i get my "Fujimi Tohge Nissan Silvia S13" on friday, i plan on doing it like this. what do you all think?

BTW: does anybody know of any company making 1/24 Advan rims like on the car (i'd prefer them fit a Fujimi car without mods to the holding pin things)? these kind http://www.advan.com/product/advan/s...van_sa3rv2.jsp

Thanks

Look forward to seeing progress on your S13.

Fujimi's Oni's are the closest thing to the Advan wheels I can think of. You may still have to do some modding though:

Good luck!

Aoshima are releasing the D1 HKS Nissan Silvia which has these wheels on the 1:1, hopefully the kit will have them also, but not sure quite yet

Not meaning to hijack your thread here but wow, hiro, that silvia is sick!

Just looking at the decals kinda puts me off thinkin of getting one. However, if it came with those wheels......

I just had a look at HLJ's website and we may be let down by Aoshima

The picture they had shows the kit built up with wheels that look like the AVS Model 5's.

...but Aoshima may turn round and surprise us...

the rims dont have to be Advans, i only want a nice set of 3 spoked rims that fit on a fujimi (BTW: i dont want to buy a whole kit just for the rims)

PS: i did that pic in photoshop, like it?

That is some brilliant Photoshopping, looks very much like a real car.

I think Fujimi's Oni's are the only 3-spoke available on the scale model market (somebody correct me if I'm wrong). I am not sure what size they are scale wise.

Alternatively, One of Fujimi's Mitsubishi FTO kits comes with 3-spokes. You can always buy that kit and buy some other wheels for the FTO.... just a thought.

Re: my first in 6-7 years

Crap, I used to have those quite a long time ago, can't think of the name, but I know it is an older Aoshima wheel in the "S-Parts" series.

Re: my first in 6-7 years

Or they could be Fujimi wheels, they look like Advan Oni's to me.
