bellhousing

Is there any differeces between the srod 4-spd bellhousing and the bell used on the t-5?If so what is it and can you ake them interchange?thanks

Yes there is and no you can't to the point where it is worthwhile.

i'm not going to run a srod,i have a t-5!but the only bellhousing i have right now is out of a 83 gt! i know the 83 used a 10 inch clutch where the t-5 has a 10.5,just wanted to know if anyone has used the older bell on the t-5!

The SROD bellhousing uses the Tremec bolt patterns, and will not work on the T-5

You know 1/2 way through 83 they put T-5's in the GT's.

yep!the svo was on it's way,wish this was the case,half to go scrounge a bellhousing up,just curious,sense the srod has a tremec bolt pattern will the 83 bell fit a newer tremec!!!

The SROD-4 bellhousing will work for a Temec or a Ford 4-speed Toploader.
