Jaguar XKSS

Has anyone done the Revell Jaguar XK SS. I'm starting on it and was wondering if any of you had any problems or comments about it. I looked through the FAQ and didnt really see much on it.

It's not something that would be in the FAQ so I am assuming you dropped that in as a security statement?

Bigfrit was building one I believe, you may want to check out his progress thread.

Hey,

I was going through test fitting some of the parts. I noticed the front frame attached to teh underbody is warped abit. I am still trying to decide if im going to mold the body together to get rid of the mold lines. Good luck with yours. I'll keep an eye out for your work.

My frontframe was also warped. Otherwise its a fine kit.

Nah, it's an E-typer that I m building, bit on the backburner now tho.
As for the XKSS I ve got it too, hardish kit, but can be built up nicely.

I have that kit still waiting, but a know one guy that already finished it.

There were some fittings problems with the body parts. Here are some pics from the process...
