Caprice Classic info

Hello

I am Thinking About buying an 1988 caprice classic which is driven 84,000 miles, and it has a 305 carb V-8, and I need to know how much does he weight?

Re: Caprice Classic info

You might try calling a Chevy dealer and see if they would have that info. You could also try the 1-800 Chevrolet customer service phone number, and as a last resort, you could call your state DMV office. My DMV in NY was able to tell me the weight of a car I was trying to obtain a title to from out of state. The title to the car had no space for the weight and they looked it up on the computer. Since the car did not change much over the years, you might be able to get the info from another Caprice owner through the registration , or looking for the tag on the body with the vehicle's weight, I have seen these tags on the body interior on the driver's side door on some GM cars. My guess would be high 3000 to low 4000 lbs.
