my Srt got sideswiped

Bro this fucking blows! ok, im coming home after leaving my buddy at his home. as im near a gas station a white ford explorer (93 model) just slides accross the left side of my car. and the driver manager to explode my rear view mirror. while my fucking losing it she desides to make a run for it i dropped it a gear and chased her untill i could at least get her plates. she cuts a right and goes on 2 wheels for a second, any longer and she would have tiped over right on to the mercedes at the street light there. then she cuts right in to my neighbor hood to try to lose me and as she's barreling down my neighbor hood i called 911 and started to explain what was going on. she shoots out the back side of my neighbor hood and makes another right turn then goes to do a u-turn and gets caught on the side walk i got her plates there and she was able to get free and gun it again. then as i went to follow the dispacher lady told me to stop chasing. i explaind to the cop what happened and im supposed to get a call back if they find her. damn my srt4 fuck!

cliff notes : hit and run , i chase, and the reason i know its a she is when the cop was running her tag the olny thing i spotted was the name Stephanie next to the tag

man that sucks, are you in a no fualt state? Im sure your insurance will cover it, as long as you got the police report. I would have kept chasing her, fuck the dispatch, no one hits me and tries to run away.

Dude...the same fucking thing happened to me..but I was rearended..not side swiped. I got fucked dude. She got away with it and all and I was left with a bill for my car to be fixed/bills for doctor visits/prescriptions. I'm very sorry to hear you were involved in this terrible situation. Hopefully things will turn out better for you than they did for me. Oh yeah..I made a post about it if you wanna read it. It's on the street racing forum somewhere..

It's hard when you're being told to cease chase and all that; I guarantee that I would have kept chasing and took whatever flack they wanted to give me though. I can't believe the world has people like that who couldn't care less about you.

Well she left the scene of an accident which is definantly illegal, so if you have a description of her car and her plate #, I don't see how she can get away with it. Sue the living hell out of her!

It's not that easy. I thought the samething. The woman who rearended me dissapeared for 3 days and resurfaced with her car in perfect conditon. At which point I couldn't prove she even hit me.

That sucks man. I just saw a car accident today. It was actually funny. I was turning left at a light, and I was waiting for a semi to make a right turn. But the light was changing. So I reversed back behind the line.

Well there was a car behind it, and it honked the horn on the semi. I noticed that the car was very close to the side of the semi. Have you even seen those stickers on the back of trucks that say "Cautiuon makes wide turns" and they show a car getting smacked on the side?

Sure enough, I hear a crunching noise, and the side of that car got smashed. The truck never noticed and kept going until someone got his attention to stop. Well, it serves the person right behind him for honking and trying to rush him

. So don't think it's all bad, yet it is, but it could have been much worse. The cops will get em. Late...

drive your car like a motorcycle always be on the alert for anything. I've avoided quite a few accidents by doing this. Sucks about the car hopefully they nail the bitch, isn't it a felony to hit and run? they'll figure out who was driving so all and all she'll be screwed lets hope you get something good out of the deal.
