Aoshima Supra??

Hey,

Is this a reboxed F&F supra kit, vise versa, or new? I have never seen this before. http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljpage.cgi?AOS03285
And have these ever been released? I remember seeing them in theuture release section many months ago, but then it went to discontinued... http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljpage.cgi?AOS03497 http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljpage.cgi?AOS03498

Thanks,
Frank X.

Re: Aoshima Supra??

There have been threads discussing that Bomex Supra on here before, I don't recall the final decision on the matter though.

Same toolings as the 1/25 scale AMT kit of the Bomex JZA80 Supra

I think that means it is the exact same model as the F&F Supra.
Oh well...

Re: Aoshima Supra??

The top link is the rebox of AMT for the Japanese market. The bottom two are all new tool, announced sometime ago, but they're pushed off till undetermined date. Perhaps, this spring? Nobody knows, yet.

It's the exact same kit, but cost lot more. This kit is the worst Aoshima I know (they make good model, but this one is AMT.)

But I have never seen the 2 other. might be interesting (even if they are OOP already)

Tamiya easy pick ! Clasical model. Much better molded, engine and lot of place to modding. If you like supra, you will buy more than one Tamiya kit

Re: Aoshima Supra??

I like the tamiya kit better than the F&F (aoshima bomex) kit. however you may want to find one of the F&F kits from someone's clearance rack or parts bin to use the body kit. I think this would be an easy project. or find a fujimi or aoshima kit with a bomex body kit (like an FD, or S15) and build your own.
