2001 Venture right headlight replacement, how to

How do I replace bulb in headlight on passenger side? Bought the bulb, not like sealed beam headlight. Looks impossible to get to from inside the engine compartment. Help appreciated.

I have removed the bulb from the housing to reinstall the plastic outer lens while the whole headlight assembly was removed from the body. You can gain access, although it is a tight fit, by reaching in behind the headlight assembly, and undo the "ring" that screws onto the housing that holds the bulb in place, and slide it back, and then turn the whole bulb/socket a 1/4 turn to remove from housing. The bulb can then be removed from the socket. Make sure you don't touch the glass on the bulb, if you do use a little rubbing alcohol to remove any oils on the bulb. And you might want to put a little dielectric grease on the new bulb "prongs" that go into the socket. This helps keep moisture out and prevents corrosion, and ensures a good contact. To reinstall , place bulb/socket assembly into housing and turn 1/4 turn. Then slide the ring back over the socket and tighten gently. I
