I would personally opt for 15's or 16's on a smaller car like a civic. But thats just my opinion.

Ace is right, you need to tell us more. What color is your car? Is it lowered?

A good find is getting some SI wheels from a 99-00 Civic SI. Or you could go with some GSR Fat Fives, also any of the other GSR wheels. Ebay is a good source to find them. Check them out. I think either of them would look really good on your Civic. It's what I am planning on buying for my 95 Civic Coupe. Late...

You have pretty much the same exact car as me . Mines an EX. And I have seen the SI wheels on a car similar to mine and lowered. It really does look damn good lowered on the SI wheels. They are also lightweight and you don't have to worry about pot holes and what not with the SI wheels because they don't require the low profile tires. Also they are a good year around wheel and tire combo. Hope that helps. late...

My personal wheels and my personal favorite are Rota Circuit 8's. in 15"x6.5" and the weigh less than 12 lbs each. slap on some 205/50 tires and you are good to go. At least if you are looking for performance with good looks, if you are a looks only kinda person with the bigger is better metallity than I can't help you there.

Re: Re: which are the best rims & tires a 93' civic coupe????

ok im definately not a fan of people that ask what looks best.

whats the point of asking us what looks best... i could say you should buy 22", cut the fenders to make them fit, all chrome, and hell why not get spinners instead.

it is your personal taste on what looks best is it not? i prefer 16's or 17's when i get rid of my si's rims. ya i know i am going to be getting rid of them. but ill tell you this much, they look pretty bomb.

If i were you, go out find rims that you like, and if they fit in the wheel well that whats us to say differ?

Re: which are the best rims & tires a 93' civic coupe????

the only explination to wanting to put on 17s is if you put on big brakes and want to show them off so they can be stolen plus it will make it harder to lower the car and a two inch gap between the tire and the wheel well is not sexy with 17s and a dropped car with the same rims cant turn as well. But hell its your danm car put 22s on that bad boy chrome with some gold lug caps and put bigg pimpin tinted into the back window

In most cases, increase in wheel size will result in a slower car. Anytime you increase wheel diameter, you're increasing rotational mass. Most people don't know this, but for every 1 pound you add in wheel weight, an additional 8lbs of static weight is added to the car. Just a little food for thought.

As to the proper tire profile, I have no idea.

205/40 is good 205/45 would also work but what kind off suspension do you have. Are you running stock hight, is it lowered and inch of two or is it slammed to the ground cause thats how you might want to decide the rim and sidwall of your tire and not what other people think.
