2.5 V6

I just drove one of these babies and boy was it a great drive!
My neighbour just bought one so we took it out for a thorough test drive. It's a '99 2.5 V6 and I have to say the car was better than i expected it to be, so it was really very very good!
Ride and handling were superb, and even though the suspension is on the hard side, it still absorbs the bumps beautifully. Transmission was semi-auto, which dented the performance slightly, but the engine was very smooth and urgent in Sport mode, much more so than in City. You really have to rev it to get to the engine's sweet spot and once it hits 5000rpm or so it really starts to pick up. At 7-8000RPM the engine really sings and the warbly exhaust makes a beautiful sound. Excellent car, though i couldnt get a comfortable driving position no matter how hard i tried to adjust the seat and steering wheel. The interior is beautiful, really nicely finished and very stylish indeed, as we come to expect of Alfa

Any 156 V6 owners out there?

cheers,
jay

Hey there- I am Italian-based Kiwi boy- and have fitted a Superchips (not NOVITEC_ though they also get a fair bit of my business) Chip to my 156 V6- and I can confirm that my car saw 3-4 more fwhp as a result of it- definitley worth the 300 Euros
