17"s Rub!?
i tried to put two sets of 17" rims on my car, both which came off of a civic, and neither set fit properly. i even raised my car up and they still rubbed? is it normal for them to rub the first few days?

When I got my 17's I had to raise my car 1/2 an inch because they rubbed in the front.
Now they just rub in the front when I make sharp turns/u-turns/etc. I just have to make wider turns now. all it is rubbing against is the lining in the wheel well (for me at least) Where are yours rubbing?

wow
that's not good Like on the fender well? Is the wheel leaning outwards? (like if you put too many washers to fix the camber) See mine's only rubbing in the front against the lining

If its rubbing in the rear, you can cut the lip off, thats what I did to solve the rear. As for the front, I did all sorts of stuff for my 16s with no rubbing. But as soon as I fixed the camber, rubbing caused the tire to blow. So I said fuck it and went to 15s. No problems now.

How much did you lower your car? You may need to raise it 1/2 an inch.
