Sallen you used the numbers for the next Z06. The regular C6 has only 400Hp and 400Tq.

And as far as bang for the buck it really matters where you are due to import taxes.

But if I were given the choice I would say Noble M12 especially the 400. Just gotta love a mid engine twin turbo setup.

Re: Noble M12 vs 05 C6

If money was no object and I was trying to maximize my investment/get the most for my money, I would get the Noble...just rarer and a real work all around...

The C6 still has a crap interior...

Re: Noble M12 vs 05 C6

? did anyone see last weeks car & driver they testd the 3r an it did 0-60 in 3.3! Ask for the importing taxes there will be very mild if any. Its because since its a kit car im sure there's away to get around most taxing. Ask for me I like the noble because I love light weight cars.
Horsepower imporves accel. Weight improves accel an handeling.

Just b/c on paper it seems to be faster...you are missing one thing here...the Noble is 1000 lbs lighter so it will feel so much more nimble than the "portly" C6. Oh...and it's turbo so it can make up for the HP by just turning up the boost a bit...no big

Re: Noble M12 vs 05 C6

Faster? The Noble would most likely sh*t on the Corvette on a track, just as it craps on most cars bar maybe the 'hypercars'.

Noble for me please.

also one must note that the M12 has been advancing, the latest models are far far faster than the older ones. And yeah it is a bit a kit car but its very well engineered and a track monster.

I'd certainly take the Noble any day, it was designed for the track and the track only. It IS the ultimate track car, it like Neutrino also said, is constantly advancing, unlike the Corvettes, which get a fine tooth comb ever few years.

One thing i don't like is the new M14, what is Noble thinking? charging double for a reskined M12 . He should stick with evolving the M12 and keeping the price down, he has a decent enthusiath market niche and should stick with it.

Re: Noble M12 vs 05 C6

I completely agree. Especially since the M14 is pig ugly (imo).
