PROGRESS: Fujimi CTR EK9

again, on the refurbish list. box stock, even the suspension. still needs little details like window trim and taillights.

now that i'm looking at it, i think this has the same yellowing problem. i guess this will be repainted at the same time as my ITR. dah well. more to do, no time to do it.

Sick! If only HLJ still had those Civic's for sale. I see what you mean about the yellowing. I originally thought that the color was like that

Re: PROGRESS: Fujimi CTR EK9

what paint are you using? I've been using Tamiya TS Pure White over Krylon Primer and noticed hints of yellow. I thought it was the primer but it was actually the paint =/

for mine i used modelmaster primer and tamiya pure white with modelmaster clear. for me, i think it's the clear because i read along time ago that the testors/modelmaster clear does that to white paint over time. when i repaint it, it will be using tamiya clear withe pure white again.

ah i see, but no hurries man. take your time with that mugen. it's such a pain dealing with the fit though (bumper). i think i better cut out the stock ones and trim a mm off the mugen just to make it flush. well, good luck with the repaint and hope it turns out great.

White always suits a ctr nicely I like this style ctr more than the one with the little vents on the sides in the front...
