turbo

i'm getting a free turbo from a 1997 or 98 eagle talon(friend totaled it last night). anyone know how much boost can this turbo put out and what else do i need to complete a kit. i think its the same turbo form an eclipse isn't it?

yeah its a big GReddy turbo. I think it can boost up to 18psi or something in that area. You're gonna need a LOT of stuff to complete the kit. I'll let someone who's really into that insane power stuff give you the rundown.

Are you planning on intercooling this turbo? If not then that's fine too. Since the GReddy turbo is made by mitsubishi then the best thing would be to find a exhaust manifold for your car from GReddy or something or even try to custom make one. There's alot more to it...if you need some help let me know on here or you can PM me.

yeah i'm planning on intercooling it, i need to know what else i need for it, but want it to be cheap cause if all the other parts i put into it is almost the same price as a brand knew greddy kit than forget it. Also if i put this turbo on my d16 and if i want to do a swap for a gsr later on will it fit.
