Arrow exhaust dilemma

i have been down this road before. choosing a good exhaust. i need some more feedback on the exhausts i've narrowed down.

1
GReddy EVO
HKS Super Dragger

2
HKS Hiper
Apexi N1

please use some reasoning other that "all my friend have this so it must be good!"

so here are the questions i have.

which offers most gains? least? same?
which is loudest? deepest? quietest? ricey in sound (bumble bee sound/dirtbike/etc)?
i know the class 1 exhausts have oval canisters.
class 2 have straight thru designs.
i want it to be legal. i know greddy is 50 state legal, but is the greddy too quiet????

basically i'd rather have an exhaust from list #1 because of looks. but if list 2 has better exhausts i'll take one. but i DONT need to get pulled over for noise.

Well, I would look into the Thermal R&D. Not only from my personal experience, but from what I have read, and what others, even on this forum, have said.

I love the sound of my exhaust, it is great, and it looks real nice too.

I saw some numbers from a dyno chart, I think it said 7.3 HP peak gain and 5.0 ft/lb torque. I do not know if there were any other mods however.

I also have the same "dilemma" as you. It's not as if you can try it before you buy it and hp gains are always told low-medium-high range 'expected'. I've been hearing the N1 is very loud and GReDDy is quiet'er'...but by how much?? How do exhausts sound on the highway...and which ones are bolt ons?

i bought an n1 for the lude because frankly the gains are worth it despite the noise. not that the gains are anything major but if im gonna pay 500 for a stupid exhaust i better get all i can out of it. oh by the way the silencer doesnt work worth a fuck. it is loud but i have heard louder tanabe racing medallion comes to mind!! it mellows out after you put some miles on it and when vtec kicks in (in my car) the engine noise is so loud it completely drowns the exhaust noise but then this isnt a d16 we are talking about either. oh and the n1 looks damn good to. screw these i wanna be so quiet you cant hear me coming people gimme what works...if its loud....so be it.
