It just gets worse....

allright today after I got off of my community service, it was around 9:00 pm, and I see brent and kenny heading to the mall, so I turn around and they stop and they say they're going to the galleria to play DDR (a dancing game that we're slaves of) anyways I said I'll go too, so I went, and we played DDR and had a good ol' time, anyways I come back to the covered parking lot, and theres glass all over the ground where me and brent parked and kenny goes "dude I don't remember us parking in glass" and I look up and I'm like WHAT THE FUCK!?!?! my passenger's side window was busted and glass was everywhere and my tape adapter wire (I dont have a cd player so I just hook my cd-man up to my tape player with an adapter wire) well the wire was hanging out the window thru the crack where the door opens and the cd player was in the door pocket, it looked like someone broke my window, opened the door from the inside and the alarm went off and they tried to grab my radio cuz they thought it was a cd player (cuz its an after market kenwood tape deck) I think they saw it was just a tape deck, took the tape adapter out and like threw it out the door but it didnt go out all the way then they shut the door to shut the alarm up, and took off, I had a 200 cd book in the front seat, every spot full, and they didnt take it, they didnt take a damn thing just ruined my window, and my day, before we left brent got a cop and he took down a report of it and all, but he said they probably won't find who did it, now i've got a plastic bag on it, and I'll take it to the infiniti dealer tommorow before community service to see how much this shit is gonna cost...damn, anyone have any idea how much it will be??

well thanx for listening and all, I love all u crazy's

peace

This happened to one of my friend at a college campus, passenger window got broken, aftermarket CD player still in there but a cd album of like 20 cds were gone. It costed about 100 bucks to fix in Bay area here. Check the yellow page, and get some quote on prices.

i wonder if its possible to have an electrified fence sort of security system, or in this case, an electrified car. wouldnt see why it wouldnt work, just send 20000 volts throughout the chassis of the car, even though it would fry every electronic part of the car

damn matt, that sucks. at least the g wasn't actually stolen. i wouldn't worry about the costs since your insurance should cover it.

I'm afraid insurance probably won't cover it. Most people have a $500 or higher deductable. Even if it costs $499.95 to fix the window, he'll have to pay for it all himself. Unless, of course, he has a $0 deductable, in which case his insurance would be astronomical. Personally, i wouldn't even report this to your insurance company. They'll just raise your rates and you won't get anything in return.

Definite bummer, Matt...

On the bright side you can tell people that the window got taken out after you tried to shut down a drug smuggling ring... Just an idea.

I hope it isn't too much to get it fixed. *giant hug*

I feel ya man. I had my Civic broken into twice. I know how it feels after you spent so much money on your ride. Same thing happened to me as with you, I had a whole book FULL of cds in the front when they broke into my Civic. They didn't take any cds ! Only thing they got was the detachable faceplate for the headunit (which they couldn't use anyway without the whole unit, unless they already have that unit) and the pleasure of busting my driver side window. This is for them lil bitch azz who broke into my shiet But anyway, good luck on getting your shiet straight. And phuck all them jealous azz haters who have nothing better to do than to ruin other peoples property for their own enjoyment !! :finger:

Something similar happend to a friend of mine sept they didnt break his window they just opend his door cus the dumb ass forgot to lock it. He had I think it was 98 bucks or some shit in his check book in his glove box, a case full of CD's the new Maxim mag sitting on his passenger seat. The only thing they took was the maxim mag. Something tells us it was a bounch of young little punks. Bastards

Sorry to hear about your window. My roomate drives an Audi and he busted his driverside window scrapping the ice off it (dont ask, Hes not too bright) andyway that shit cost him like 200 bucks to get replaced.

Hey just a suggestion to the window breaking...

Definatly look into getting tint. Besides keeping sun out (UV rays) from fading your interior and allowing better vision, keeping your car cooler, providing a more private car...

it will also hold the glass together and make it alot alot more stronger than glass without tint. This would help in two situations, during an accident, and for vandalism. (Also at night its tough for punks to see in your car).

Hope that helps! Sorry bout your window...i hate people that dont respect other peoples property...but it just seems that it will always happen.
