Digital Camera USB Cable

I know this isnt Car Modeling related. Surry if this isn't the Suitable place for this.
I have misplaced my USB cable to my Digital Camera (HP photosmart 735 camera)
My question is, will this USB cable be compatible?

Details here: http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/NexxT...oductDetail.do

Its an Computer USB, but it looks like it can be used for digital cams.

Re: Digital Camera USB Cable

thats usb-usb. Unless your camera has a direct USB port into the side of it, it's not gonna work. Circuit city sells regular replacment camera cords, I've bought a replacement for mine there.

Re: Digital Camera USB Cable

You know, why don't I move this to the correct place for you....

And in answer.

Whether or not the cable works or not depends entirely on the camera you have, different makes of camera use different plug ends for the camera end which aren't compatable.
Also, I don't think a PC USB cable will fit a digi cam.

Re: Digital Camera USB Cable

There are different ones for different cameras, Take your camera with you to circuit city and have them match it up. I'm postive they will have one.

Re: Digital Camera USB Cable

i just got one of those aluminum card readers. the external jobs.... picked it up for 9 bucks and it's fast as hell.

as far as the cables go.... a mini USB interface is the standard but a lot of manufacturers have proprietary connectors on there stuff so.... :-(
