Question What CD Changer works with the stock stereo in 1994 P10?

I have a stock 1994 and am desperate for a CD changer. What changer will plug right in with no splicing or anything and can be easily controlled? Better yet, do any of you have a changer you pulled out with your stock system that you'd like to sell me?? Thanks. I don't even know, is the stock radio Panasonic or Alpine or Bose or what??

Emily

It has a button that says disc up and down...the one you use for seeking in radio mode. I think (hope) it can control a changer. Let me know.

Unhappy CD changer control....

boingo82

I believe the standard HU can only control genuine Nissan supplied changers. Which will be expensive.

Ask P11GT his Primera has an AWESOME system instaled.

Regards Brian.

Well finally today my dad and I pulled it out...and it accepts Alpine changers with an M-BUS controller with 8-pin DIN plugs. Same as the stock stereo in many Chrysler products. These can be had for not too much money, as there are 40 or so on eBay right now. Thanks for your help.
