Im starting to paint a Nascar Richard Petty model, and I need some help with the body. It has a pretty complicated paint scheme and I've never done something like this before. Can you guys give me a couple helpfull suggestions.

Re: Painting help needed
If they arent decals just mask it. Its not as hard as it may appear.

Thats not to hard a paint job.
take the white decal that divides the blue and red on the side of the car. photocopy that, and use it as a template to mask that off. so your first step would be to paint the whole car red, the mask off all the red sections using your template, then spray the blue on. the white decals will cover up any uneven masking lines. i dont remeber the color, but the red is flouresent. and a good match for the blue is Grabber blue |

Re: Painting help needed
wouldn't it be better to lay the blue down first to prevent "bleed through" of the red?
