I don't see it as a bad race really. Sure the vette won but the Cobra gave him a good run for his money.

I love the whine of the supercharger on the Cobra.
I think if the Cobra threw on 3.73's or 4.10's he would have him for sure.

Corvette Z06 12.9/111.0 $51,733 2004 Mustang Cobra 13.5/105 $35,000 I honestly don't think the Saleen is worth the money. With the money you save from buying a 2004 Cobra appose the Saleen you can easily make it unbelievably fast and still have change in your pocket. It's a difference of $26,120! When buying a Saleen your buying performance but your also buying the name and rarity. It's more of a collectors item then a track/everyday driver in my opinion. You can buy your Saleen but after I throw just a fraction of the $26,120 into my Cobra you'll eating my dust.

C&D has the 03 Cobra at 12.9/112 and the new LS2 Vette at 12.7. don't know about the older Z06's.

I know I'm not that good and I ran a 12.6 at 114 in my 03 with nothing but a FRPP catback and a drop in K+N on sumitomo's. I'd rather have the 20K I saved and still run down a Saleen.
