Way to find a good perspective on the situation!

What kind of effect is this little situation of yours gonna play with your insurance. Why did they take your license? Everyone has a little mishap from time to time were you drunk?

Re: Lost my liciense

no sir would never ever drive drunk. just plan not smart. no i was driving on a gravel road in the middle of nowhere and a deer was around the been so i tryed to avoid it but it was wet out and the back end kicked out. so i slid around kept it straight and landed in a ditch so the tow truck said he had to call the law so we did and he wrote me a ticket for failure to control. i got a ticket awhile back too for making a illegal left hand turn. they cop decied he wanted to tailgate me so bad i could just see the top of his headlights. we got to a intersection(underconstruction and i dont drive there often) i didnt see the sign above the light above the huge ass street sign with the name of the street on it, paying to much attation to the cop and turned left and boom. I know i should have aimed for the deer but i would have no car if i did liablitly insurance and couldnt get 3000 dollers worth of damage fixed.

Dude you should get an attorney. There is no way they can take your license for having an accident. The only way they can is if you were under the influence of some sort of drug or alcohol. Now they might give you a ticket for careless and imprudent but most of the time if they pull your license its because you have a history of it. They'll usually write you some expensive tickets and your insurance has a fields day. The only other thing I can think of is if you have a ticket that you haven't paid. I went through that when I was a teen. I went back to court paid the fine and got it reinstated.

I'd have someone look into that because if none of the above apply to you they can't take your license.

Re: Lost my liciense

what the hell? Dude, I feel bad for you man. I had an accident this week too, but I had more luck, as I didn't hit anyone else, and the extend of my damage was a blown tire and cracked rim. I did have to buy snow tires ($700 US for the set with rims) but at least the car seems to be ok, and insurance did not have to be notified at all. Phew!!

Re: Lost my liciense

Yeah well here if ur under 18 and have two tickets doesn’t matter what u lose your license for 90 days period I should have pleaded not guilty and fought the ticket. Heck if the officer doesn’t show up to court I win. The county I live in (licking county) is known for being the strictest and worst county in the state for Teens.
Also glad to hear that u don’t got much damage man .
I also had no property damage or any injuries!!! Heck I was doing about 3 mph when I went in the ditch. O well if I get another ticket and am battling that one till I die.

Re: Lost my liciense

Yeah man? why did you plead guilty to it?? Dude, it's better to fight them, always. Luckily I've never had a ticket but my dad has had a couple of pretty serious ones, and he's gotten off by fighting them.

if your a teen it is almost always better to plead no contest Unless the cop dont show up because then It is easier to keep it off your receard (I know I cant spell) you should have called someone that has a truck to pull you out free and no police!

Re: Lost my liciense

yeah but they problem was the grass was muddy and wet so his dads hemi truck couldnt do athing and well his dads semi truck would pry rip everything apart so i was pretty much screwed. it took the tow guy about 30 mins to get it out bc it was at a 45 degree angel to the road with the right side lower then the left bc of the 60 degree incline of the ditch.
