SI Tail Lights

Does anyone know if you can get the SI tail lights in a darkend look?

I want to keep that non altezza look on my 97 Civic, but it is silver with gun metal rims and black housing headlights, so I want to have that look all around. Any ideas would help.

Thanks.

Check Goooooooooogle and type in NightShades. I ordered a can for a measily $10 from summit racing, and that's more than enough.

Yea, smoking them is pretty commen. Nightshades is also used quite often for this. It's made by VHT (a PJ1 brand).

Here's a link directly to Niteshades @ the VHT website.
Nightshades

I also knew someone once who tried to use their smoked window spary to smoke his tails, since it's clearly labled as UV resistant. It's pretty different stuff, but I have no clue how it turned out. Anyways, here's a link to it. I personally think it wouldn't turn out no matter what you used it for, but since I didn't hang around to see how it turned out, I really have no experince with it to say.

smoke window tint

Re: SI Tail Lights

I used clear window tint spray on all but my head lights on my 4g. One piece of advice, LIGHT COATS, lol. Don't go crazy and try to do it in one shot.

Re: SI Tail Lights

Very light coats, waiting 10-20 min in between, and you'll never regret rushing the job.

Re: SI Tail Lights

Since I'm kind of new to this, do you spray the inside or outside of the lights???

Also, will it come out clean looking??? I know a lot of that depends on the way I spray it, but even if I do spray it evenly will it have a clean look to it?

Nevermind, I just read the link and it answered all of these questions. I was doing a search and couldn't find any pics of lenses that were sprayed by this. Let me know if anyone has any pics.

Thanks again.
