well i am tuff'n out the winter with my hood and so far looks the same except dirty..lol... but my buddy has had his hood for like 3 yrs and its just fine...

I would take it somewhere and get an extra coat or two of gloss painted on than what you bought it with.. shouldn't cost more than $40.

Oh and Mingish, can you shrink your sig a bit please.

A lot of CF hoods don't come with a clearcoat on them. It's usually not a bad idea to go and get them clearcoated once you get them. The clearcoat will add some extra layers of protection from the sun, and help it stay glossy.
