Quick lil Question all

Ok let me start out saying i know alot about cars, cant type for shit, and when i get drunk/board/or have free time i love to work on cars and learn more about them. I have always been a chevy person myself since my dad was so i followed but i have drove alot of nice fords 1 im asking about . Ok my lil bro picked up this 86gt for 1300 i thought was a steal since im in love with the 92gt lol (so much for being a chevy boy lol) but we cut the 4 cats off of it. I like it (alot lol ) little shakey ride (i drive a 89 caprice 350,posi havevy but will get out of its own way ohh 1 more note it came with a 305 i swaped the blocks kept same heads/intake/tbi didnt feel like messing with cutting wires and getting a new fuel tank since it has a electric furel pump sorry for rambling) ok back the the point i want this mustang he will sell for 1600 witch he has in it still a good price for 302/5speed/posi what i need to know since money is tight is that a good deal also what can i do to mod it up i mean in 1sr gear you cant floor it ever it breaks free no matter what lol i guess what im saying i know chevy and prices is a ford 302efi as cheap to hook up ?? i know it has emission heads and shit that need to be changed and the gears should be changed also but lets say i wanna make a lil power car can i run any kinda boast on stock internals (turbo/supercharger) also witch one would yall reccomend i know turbo is for high rpm and charging is for low where are these 302's strong points highs/lows rpms sorry for being 1 big paragraph dad never tought my how to type or spell lmao any advice would be helpful and thanx alot in advance ( amf i trust alot i had a 91 eclipse i bought for 150$ needed a tranny and the mitsubishi people here helped me out alot with shortcuts for swaping also it made me 750$ on it but its cool thanx again all and i promice i wount ramble ona ever again see what jim beam does lol thanx again all.

Depending on how far you want to take it I might skip it only cause the car is an 86. The 86 302 motors have flat top pistons which make going to any aftermarkt head or cam that is worth it impossible unless you change or flycut your pistons. So if you want to seriously mod it with out having to touch the internals I would pas on it or get a junkyard 302 to swap in.

At $1600 if it runs good and the body is solid that is a decent deal. And 302 EFI parts are cheaper than EFI Chevy(TPI, LT1, LS1) parts.
