Tamiya R33 GTR
So far I've gotten all the primer on and 2 layers of body paint. the color is burgundy metallic flake i think. i think it looks nice if i can get a good spray job going. i've also painted the spoiler and mirrors and par of the chassis/suspension. here are some crappy pics for now.

After thinking it over, i think i'll go to auto zone tomorrow and get some csc and strip the paint and get more primer. its going to be worth the extra effort to get a perfect paint job.

Maybe you could try that color over a silver base... That might help. Remember to keep the coats super-thin...

the GTR is now taking a bath in some CSC, where it will stay until i get back from boarding tomorrow.

thanks to jay's fast response i took off the top half of the paint without gloves. now the bottom half is soaking. this stuff works like a charm. but for some reason a little skin on my hands is falling off. now i just need to order more primer and get a response from my pm that i sent jay a while ago

edit: ok, maybe i should check my PM list before i type anything. thanks jay!

all of the paint is now off and i just ordered a new can of primer and i'm waiting on the paint for the interior to arrive. so for now i'm just waiting.


oh, good news, i just ordered a revell 512 TR also!

i have the interior all painted and assembled to the chassis. now i'm just waiting for the damn primer to get here.
