Peugeot 206 New Zealand Rally
Built this as a medium for a couple demos I did at the last TamiyaCon, one for decalling and one for light weathering. It's just out of the box. This kit fits like a dream... - Mark

Looks very nice, especially the wheels and tires, they look so real! What's your secret, my rubber always ends up looking wrong...

Re: Peugeot 206 New Zealand Rally
Nice Pug! Weathing is subtle and effective. What happened to the 206 WRC decal on top of the windscreen? Is it just me or did the program you used to downsize your pictures leave some nasty "jaggies".

Thanks all. No secret for weathering the tires. They're just airbrushed. Check out my BRE 350Z post for a more detailed weathering description, similar techniques used on this one.
A low-res JPEG is responsible for the windshield shade, and much of other parts of the car for that matter. It'll be on display at the next TamiyaCon... - Mark |
