This will be my last post, goodbye everyone

Well this is it...time to get deployed for Iraq. I just wanted to say that this is one of the best forums i'm affiliated with. Lots of knowledgeable people on here and lots of cool people too. Carrrnuttt, you are very cool and you have my respect as a person and a car enthusiast. Good luck in everything man. To Redneck, get yo sh*t fixed mang! lol j/k. I know i've occasionaly said some crap on here that offends certain people and i have been responsible for starting flame wars in some threads. Sorry 'bout all that. But on a serious note, none of that matters now. Time for me to go over there take care of business and try to get home in one piece so i can continue where i left off, my quest for a 12.6x run in the 1/4. So far my best is 12.77, my dad will have pleasure of practicing while i'm gone, grrrr. He'll probably get it before i do but that's ok. He helped me build it so i don't mind. Ok enough rambling.

This will be my final post

Goodbye and God Bless, Brandon (90redgt)

Goodluck, I never really knew you or read your last posts but I still wish you luck, your survival and to achieve whatever you joined the army whether it would be to serve your county, free Iraq, fulfill your love for it, join one of the only thing that remotely lets you be trigger happy without being illiegal or looking like a wierdo (sorry I just had to say that), job oppertunity, the stuff you get to use, a government job with benefits that does not usually take up all your time, a way to join the military that usually does not take up all your time or any other reason that you are thinking of, even if these don't come to play. I would like to ask what mods you have on your 1990 Mustang but I bet you are pressed for time, so I will look up your past posts.

And if you ever get a tastes for foriegn cars I heard every military branch allows you to import at most one car from the country you are stationed in, then again I heard this from someone in the navy so I do not know. But if you do ever get that oppertunity to do that, at the end of your tour you can always request to fly to Ramstien airbase or one of the bases stationed in Japan. Then from those places you will have access to a plethora of cars that are not in the US. From there you can take your pick of Peugeots (206 Gti, 205 Gti, 307 and 406), Citroen, Renault (Clio Sport V6 is good), Nissan (Skyline GTR is always good, Pulsat GtiR or VZ-R, not to mention the Cube if you like those type), Toyota Chaser, Opel, Vauxhall (VXR220, VXR220T), any Subaru WRX before 99, Vivio, Mazda GTR (plus any RX-7 beyond 96, RX-7 Spirit R1), BMW M3 Euro edition, any Mitubishi Evo before 2001 and numerous other makes plus cars I have not mentioned. If you get there is a computer that goes online available anywhere try contacting us (with the permission of your superiors, or not at your own risk). I also heard there was an Iraqi entrepreneur trying to set up a chain of Cyber Cafes in Baghdad, I hope that works out.

Did I mention good luck and be safe?

Man, so the time has finally come....well, good luck, and you better come back safely to finish off that 1/4 mile time and do it right. You've been an awsome guy on these boards, and your car is just a beast, hehe. Good luck, and keep safe man.

Thank you for going over there and defending our right to whine, complain and brag on the Internet.

Seriously, I appreciate the job you are doing for use

You are obviously well liked and respected. My thought is you need to come back safely so you can begin your quest for the 11's. Be smart and safe, all the VERY best.

Man! You should've called me!

Anyhow, good luck man...and this ain't your last post - it's your last post for now.

You'll have some internet access out there, but if you're doing convoy protection, you might be on the move a lot.

*salutes*

Hey man, good luck, and I hope the worse thing that happens is you break your arm jerking off and get a purple heart and come home in one piece.
