Progress: 1940 Ford Coupe

The life of this model began as a 1940 Ford Coupe by Revell. Well, it is going to be a '40 Ford w/ a lemon twist!!!! This is a first for me with major body mods on a model! I chopped the top, cut out the b-pillars, sloped the back glass and removed the rear window divider. Notice the lack of running boards!! The headlights were opened up and has '37 Ford headlight bezels that will be molded in. Still have alot of work to do, so here are a few pics for now:

Feedback and comments welcome! Ol' Dude

Jessica's Nail polish?

As far as wheels, Im not to keen on them. Maybe some Daggars? I might attend the next meetin', will this be there? I'd love to discuss how you plan to lower yours, as my '40 is being a PMSing Bitch.

I will probably use the Daggers!! I do not know if I will be at the next meeting or not!!!! If I do go, then yes I will bring the '40. As far as suspension, may just be a curbside!!

Daggars or Diablos...Daggars look good w/the small protrusions nipped off. Big and little Hellas might be cool too.

Since you've chopped it, you might consider raking the windshield back a bit more from vertical...the car is so sleek, the vertical windshield looks like it'll slow it down too much!

Nice!

I think a rounded bit at the bottom of the back windows would look more 'right'.

That body work is tight. The rim choice is A-1 too!
