5th gear
i was just wondering if anybody else had a hard time getting into their 5th gear. i have a 2002 v6 mustang and almost every time i go from 4th to 5th my damn gear grinds i was just wondering what could be done about this

if you feel like your clutch is engaging too close to the floor you can adjust it... pull the clutch pedal toward you and it'll snap into place.
if that doesn't fix it it's the blocker ring not doing its job. i have the same problem with 2nd gear in my tranny but i just put it in, so i'm not gonna rebuild it just yet.

Sounds like a blocker ring/synchro problem, tranny needs to be pulled apart to fix it.
