Which of thease cars would run faster in a 1/4 race?

1.)04 Neon srt-4 with exhaust(average driver)

2.)00 camaro SS 6 speed with lid and catback(average driver)

3.)95 mustang gt auto with full exhaust,4:10 gears,shift kit,
drag radials,100 wet shot of nitrous,chip

4.)Honda s2000 with exhaust,intake(good driver)

I would say the SS

The SS should win, but it really depends how well the driver can launch; if you're not careful with those things, you'll melt your rear tires off.

The Mustang should't have a problem winning. Seriously, a 100shot of nos, plus drags, shift-kit, etc. The SS would come in a respectable 2nd. SRT-4 3rd. S2000 last since adding exhaust and intake on this engine isn't going to give you much for the money spent.

Edit: Just saw the average driver (SRT-4) opposed to a good driver (S2000). If this is the case then it could end up being close.

What kind of driver is in the Mustang?
A 5.0 with 4:10 gears in it would be tricky to get a good launch with. If the driver is average, those drag radials could have a good chance of going up in smoke at the starting line.
Also, why does the Mustang get lots of stuff to go with it? If the driver is rather good then it's simple, Mustang is going to win.

1. Mustang with those parts it will make about equal power to the wheels of the SS, plus it's lighter, has better gearing, and can easily out launch it cause of the DR's.

2. 00 SS, prob similar HP as the Stang but heavier, out matched gearing wise, and the average driver will hurt it's own times on stock tires(lame 60's).

3. SRT-4 v S2000 battle for 3/4 is a toss-up. If both cars would driven to absolute perfection I think the S2000 would win. SRT-4's are a lot more forgiving than S2000's on the 1320. So between these two with drivers describe I'd say I don't know.

(it reads to me like the poster is trying to say something about adding stuff to a car and having a good driver in a not so fast car...)
