Question Building your own turbo kit?

how hard would it be for me to build my own turbo kit if i bought the turbo, bov, and timer? how much money also would it cost and how many parts can be found at a junk yard? and what would be the best turbo also thanks

oh yeah i have a 1997 rs eclipse =D

theres no way to say how hard it would be to find the parts.. it all depends on what your local junkyards have. I seriously doubt your find any good turbos from a junkyard. i mean you might but chances are if there good its already gone. check ebay often, sometimes you can find a good deal on one. As far as the other parts, besides a bov, and what not your going to have to come up with pipes. intercooler pipes and exhaust downpipe. you can usually use pvc for the i/c pipes and have a muffler shop make you a dp but thats something your gonna want to plan. it basically depends on if you know what to buy and how much to buy it for. if you read up on everything for long enough you will figure that out and be able to piece together a solid kit for under 1500 easily. and i know you can find enough info to figure everything out searching this forum, because thats how i did it... peace

On DSMTrader i have seen 14b and t-25's go for like 60 bucks.
